THE WINNER of the competition will receive a cash prize of US$ 20,000 and a combination of incubation services worth over $10,000.

The incubation services will support the entity in establishing either its primary or secondary presence in Dubai and will include the following services:

  • 1 fixed desk in Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Centre (DTEC) for 1 year
  • 1 service license free of change (1 year) for a DTEC FZCO or FZE license All additional set-up costs waived such as Issuance of Board Resolution and 3 original MoAs
  • Visa or Visa transfer costs for two persons (max) waived (paid by DSOA)
  • An opportunity to pitch in front of the Incubation Selection committee with the prospect of attracting funding to mutually accepted terms.

THE WINNER of the competition will be announced on the second and final day of the third annual Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES) on October 11th and 12th in Dubai.

Held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

GIES 2016 will build on the momentum and thought leadership of the 2013 and 2015 Summit, and will continue to offer a platform for over 2000 policy makers and business leaders to connect and drive change. These speakers and leaders will gather from across the Islamic world and beyond to discuss a variety of crucial issues, such as business and investment opportunities in Islamic finance and insurance; the full halal food value chain from manufacturing to logistics; halal products manufacturing; tourism and small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs).
